Rapid process and equipment modernization of CAA to TSA in an existing and well maintained anodizing line
Modernization of automated anodizing plant from Chromic acid to Tartaric Sulfuric Acid (TSA) anodizing. Original plant was built in the late 1980’s, and with this upgrade meeting the REACH regulation and Airbus qualification for aircraft parts anodizing was made possible. The project installation was made by Galvatek experts ahead of schedule in December 2013.

Aero engine parts chemical cleaning and etching combined with robotics
Automated Chemical Cleaning and Etching Line for aero engine components. In the Kawasaki plant, the previously manual sections of the processes – and often inconvenient interuptive sections of the automatic processes – have been replaced with advanced robotics. Galvatek’s plant design for Kawasaki is first of its kind where the whole process involving parts handling is fully automated. The whole process and the equipment are controlled by unique control system, Galcont, developed by Galvatek.
